I didn’t know anything about this movie and I’m a sucker for guns versus monsters so here we go

The Good… The Bad …and the Spooky 

The good: 

Amy, Mason can really hold her own on screen. She seems like she knows what she’s doing wielding the video game guns and her hand to hand stuff books convincible and credible.

You only have a short amount of time, but I really do like all of the good guys

I love all the practical effects

As alien rip off, Cisco, The’s part, alien part predator creatures from the game look great and kick ass

I like movies where no one is safe. It really raises the steaks.

The bad 

Honestly, this thing is too dumb to have a lot of bad stuff

The ennnd oh god the end

The spooky 

The CGI at the end doesn’t even look as good as the original video game! This flick managed to limp along to the finish line, and completely blow it in the homestretch

There is a couple adequate jump scares Which is good cause I don’t think being scary is the top priority

The Death Rattle

This is a simple popcorn movie that swap your popcorn for rocks in the last 10 minutes. I have seldom seen a movie crumble over its own weight the way this one has if you can’t afford to make Hailn look cool, don’t go to hell especially if you’re using digital effects that don’t even look as good as the 2019 video games.

What doodles though.? She slept until it got too noisy and then went in the other room (I might’ve should’ve joined her)
