I was listening to an episode of THE CULT OF MUSCLE and my buddy CDR really put this over. It sounded like perfect flicke to end this years journey with!

The Good… The Bad …and the Spooky
The good
Everything about this movie is a bit off kilter and I am totally down with that.
I love the motley Crue we are following
I like the survival horror elements of this. It’s very fun mix with the supernatural.
The feather tree is gorgeous
The music is appropriate, but not obnoxious and overpowering as period piece stuff tend to be
It’s tough to tell who’s a good guy or bad guy or if those even exist in this little crew… I’m totally down with that.
Guy Boyd is rad
Karlene Crockett is amazing in this. I’m surprised I don’t know more about her.
The bad
I’m not 100% on board with the narration especially because it goes long periods of time without happening.
Wow, the explosions were funny and all it did sort of take me out of there element
This film went all the visitor on me and honestly I’m not sure what I think
The spooky
The mystery valley people are really sooopey
Holy crap! Leah’s Vision of the kid. So simple very cool
The translation of the tablet found in the river is classic horrors set up in a puritan wrapping great great great stuff

I really dug this. I’m so glad I saved it for last as I write this I’m sick as a dog and I may have liked it even more if I was top of the Pops.
