I really Went back-and-forth about including us in this project. I had hoped it would have at least some of the Gothic spooky gloss The Comics in the 93 film had. But here it is

The good
I dunno kids…. These kids seam pretty goth? They may not dress that way but they have the right amount of morose.
I like this back story… I don’t thing we needed an origin story for Erick and Shelly but i dig the worlds its happening . And i love the idea of that love at first sight flash love its very pure. To have that taken away … never making memories never growing roots. Thats so sad
., I wouldn’t blame you if you looked at it through the cynicism of these are two broken people that connect on a very trite broken people level but I am going with love at first sight
I love the limbo factory
Those stab wounds are good i did not expect to see exposed I intestines
I love this soundtrack so far. Its way more true to the Spirit of the comic book source material. Obama was quite frank about imagining bands like sister of mercy and Siouxsie and the Banshees
band a fact pretty much confirmed by the sound track of the comic Composed by dark wave outfit Trust Obey. Instead, we get grunge band they are trying to sell to the masses and the Musical manifestation of toxic masculinity. The rest of that soundtrack is really good though.

OK apparently we’re opening on the scene from never-ending story that scarred us for life. interesting flex crow 2024
Our villain seems like a over thought out 90s Batman villain.his powers his bow tie the whole nine years
As much as I liked that limbo factory, I don’t think we needed the Obi-Wan Kenobi style exposition device… I especially hate when his voice is echoing through the streets. Way to drive home appoint dude.
This is the second movie I watched in a row for this project, which is both managed to over complicate and dumb down the IP’s mythology
Is there is a scene that is directly aped from the Raid 2. Totally different outcome, but too similar to be a coincidence
No the end how bad it looks how dumb it is how disjointed and anticlimactic it is honestly destroys this movie

The Death Rattle
If they hadn’t called him, Erick Draven… If he was just a different crow… If the CGI gore wasn’t so bad… And if end wasn’t a disaster…. I think this film would be really great, and looked at in high regard.
I really was all in on the romance. It really struck me, I really liked The action in its way it was choreographed and set up very well, but man that poor those bullet strikes… Just looked awful and undone
