Why am I so intrigued by these things! As the credits rolled on the first one, I was pretty all set with going out of my way to watch Poo do murder stuff. I felt like there was a lot of potential there the movie looked way better than it had any right to be, and there was some cool ideas. Especially in regards to some cool set pieces. But I was irritated with the fact that this nonsense was unflinchingly somber not a wink, not a bit of irony I didn’t understand why you would make a Winnie the Pooh slasher movie. And not take advantage of how ludicrous the situation is. My other complaint was that the masks of piglet and Pooh looked like masks. They didn’t look like anamorphic animal people they looked like people in Halloween masks .

But then I saw the trailer for the new one. The make up looks really cool. It would appear that this is actually a reboot of sorts.

And then there’s the shared universe, which I think is stupid I don’t even care about the more famous shared universe is anymore. Aside from Brian, Keane and Clive Barker. I’ve been shared Universe to death.

The Good… The Bad …and the Spooky 

The good

I really enjoy the animated prolog 

Cold open Is brutal and really good

Tiger is awesome. The make up this take on the character he’s just really friggin great great 

All the animated exposition is really great

The gore is next level it’s really amazing 

The bad 

So let me get this strait? Thease idiots who live near the 7 Christopher Robins killed all those people Bu him self! 

He looks like If Topher Grace  had a baby with the frog man of a saddle Creek band, 

He tore apart  7 ladies a gang and some cops.. all by him self all 160 pounds of him

Owl and Tigger’s voice sounds exactly the same 

Tigers quips work on their own but not in this super serious somber murder thon 

Speaking of that WHY IS THIS SOOOO Serious? IRS a movie about Winnie the Poo!! 

The spooky 

Something about the Fucking owls. It’s got a million dollar head and a five dollar body. I think that’s what makes it so scary. 

And worse than a serious, I feel like you don’t need to know why just that they exist
