The Good… The Bad …and the Spooky

The good

The single house setting is a fun thing. Never going any further to the front walk gives the flick an outwardly feel. The gore is on point.

Set design of the midnight man is purty cool! Simple and scary

The bad

The script is good, but some times characters talk just so there is dialog.

“The Rules” if the character villan can break the rules why even have them

It’s what a certain pro wrestling luminary would call “lazy booking”

The spooky

Lin Shaye is spooky ass fuck!! Oh man!,she needs more roles like this were she stretches her legs! Soo scary!!

Sinister superlatives

Best kill: Fist threw the head!

Best Scare: Hand full of 1/2 head through the shadows!

Best actor : Lin Shaye

Best character: Alex

Best quote: “this isn’t going to end well”

The Death Rattle:

This is much better then the reviews would lead you to believe but it’s not even close to as good as it should be. The premise is so simple. A urban legend framed like a saw film.  But the direction can’t quiet keep the tension ramped up to were it should be .
