The Good:

some great gore. the Killer clowns Weapon signature weapon is pretty bad ass. It’s A simple iteration of an everyday tool.

While the actors don’t have a lot to work with they emote enough personality to make their characters likable!

The bad:

With an homage that’s homaging as hard as this one does it’s tough to not be struck by how many of the “revels” that are lessoned by the familiaritity of them. The mask is a bit try hardy.

A William Shatner mask

A hockey mask

A ghost mask that you could’ve bought at any truckstop before 1999.

All so simple and elegant yet the filmmakers that came after always seem to overthink it. this bad guy looks they are wearing a Jack-in-the-Box drive-through menu on his head!

The Spooky:

There is a very cool Scene at an open air book fair that features a bunch of people dressed like the killer wile the real life actual killer is live-streaming the event. Definitely played on my enxity about croweds and my fair of geting spectated in them.

It is a far away from the old dark house as you can get but it’s a very modern scene digging into very primal fears

Favorite Kill:

Death By Statue by statue impairment

The Death Rattle:

This is worth a watch. I suppose It fails as much as it succeeds certainly not lazya d it’s a far step from boring. Most of its Problems comes from its cinematic Slasher area of adoration Beaning such a small serving size that every twist turn and trop is completely telegraphed.

I give it 2 1/2 jack-o’-lanterns
