This song.. man.. it does a lot.. sooo hot, some times it hits me and it makes me ..uncomfortable…. Like I’m listing to something I shouldn’t. A song of the addiction to the flesh!!
Sometime it hits like the ultimate love song. Sometime still there is something a bit sinister. … cultish.. the unflinching order the repeated “give me.” That’s not a request! That’s a order. The 2nd verses flips it a bit. The structure is still built around commds but the intent seams a bit more submissive.
The light hits it right … it’s a “song of faith and devotion” . And in that light it’s both things.. but twice as beautiful and twice as sexy!!!
I hadent felt the sort of trust.. that free wheeling passion.. until not too awful long ago. The type of trust that you won’t hold back!
