Night 7 July 25th, Korakuen Hall

 


A Block


  • SANADA X vs. Kaito Kiyomiya
  • Yota Tsuji x  vs. Chase Owens
  • Shota Umino x  vs. Gabe Kidd
  • Ren Narita X vs. Hikuleo


B Block


  • Will OspreayX vs. Great O-Khan
  • Kazuchika Okada vs. YOSHI-HASHI X 
  • Tanga Loa vs. El Phantasmo x 
  • Taichi x vs. KENTA

I think this may be the most cut and dry show of the hole tournament. With 

 Tanga v El Phantasmo, Taichi v KENTA and Ren V Hikuleo being the only tossups. The one not cut and dry thing is I think that YOSHI-HASHI  HE’S GOING TO PERFORM ABOUT AS WELL AS HE ALWAYS DOES IN THE G1 NUMERICALLY but I think his big wins are going to be big and important. Therefore, I’m calling a giant upset ovrr the rainmaker!!

C Block


  • Aaron Henare vs. EVIL X 
  • Shingo Takagi X  vs. Mikey Nicholls
  • Tomohiro Ishii vs. Eddie Kingston X 
  • Tama Tonga x vs. David Finlay


D Block

  • Hiroshi Tanahashi x vs. Toru Yano
  • Tetsuya Naito x vs. Shane Haste
  • Hirooki Goto vs. Alex Coughlin x 
  • Zack Sabre Jr vs. Jeff Cobb X 

I think this is going to be Hiroshi Tanahashi’s last stand. Everything will go downhill from here! The king in the stone pitbull, will tear each other to shreds, but I think in the rubber match the king will get his hand raised (I think it’s the rubber match?? They fart on that new Japan, strong show, and then in the preshow of that AEW pay-per-view (how’s this for journalism??) and I think they traded victories, so we are in the rubber match (I think probably maybe)

I feel like A block is pretty cut and dry I’m gonna go with the rainmaker over the aerial assassin. EL over Kenta in there continued Bullet club feud. I think everything else is gonna look like you would think it would.

I’m looking for a Tama  to come up big against Shingo. I’m hoping and praying. Ishii can get past the house of tortures, idiotic shenanigans. The D Blocks MDK showdown should be very fun. I think Goto and the ace will slap the shit out of each other before Goto take some down. I look for Cobb to not stand for any Yano Bs and just
