Recently, someone very special to me, was having a very, very bad night . 

So to help calm her nerves and her tired eyes eye Read her one of my favorite stories of all time.

I remember where I was when I first read Cordaroy in my grandparents home in upstate New York . 

Every time I come across it I am brought right back.

Upon this reading, we were very excited  to learn  the little girl who adopts our cuddly hero was named “Lisa”. I don’t necessarily believe in coincidence and I think a little bit of things that are generally thought of as happenstance or serendipity are signs from the universe confirming you’ve made the right choice or road signs to tell you you’re going the right way. 

I’m lucky. 

When you get to share something that’s precious to you and has been precious to you and the person you share it with appreciates it.. that’s magic. 

Don’t be afraid to visit the things from yesteryear . The things that made you smile or things that made your youth great.
