Read Dis: justice league international Omnibus volume One

 perhaps the most influential comic for me. 

This won’t be the last time you hear me talk about this book on this blog, but for crime sake, read it read this on the bus read the smaller trades. Go collect the back issues fucking read it. 

Comics had gotten pretty dark and Dyer by 1987 and wile this book may not have changed that it’s certainly made a dent. But it wasn’t just a humor or lighthearted attitude, along with the suicide squad comic that was running at the same time did ushered in a new view of superheroes something that was different than what DC has been doing all along,  these were human-beings in costumes, not gods pretending to be people.

Soooo good. So funny it’s the first comment that Ever made me cry check it out!
