DE LA SOUL’s 3 feet high and rising, was a complete revelation to my young brain.
It was a total contrast all the hip-hop I was exposed to definitely different than all the eyeliner clad alternatives, I was mainlining at the time.
This song in Magic number .. it’s impossible for me to not smile anytime I here it.
This album has finally hit digital streaming services and then we released physically after a very long time and I can’t recommend it enough If it only had this song on it, the album a get my highest recommendation great catching tracks.
But this song .. this song has a place in my heart that few other songs do. It’s my “ in case of bad mode break glass” emergency jam!
